Both grounding and earthing involve reconnecting with the Earth’s natural energy, and the terms are often used interchangeably.
Some people, however, make a distinction:
Earthing refers to direct contact with the Earth’s surface, such as walking barefoot on soil, sand, or grass.
Grounding is sometimes used in the context of electrical systems, meaning connecting devices to the Earth to avoid electrical hazards.
For everyday health purposes, most people use both terms to describe the same idea — restoring balance by connecting to the Earth. This can be done simply by spending time barefoot outdoors or by using specially designed grounding tools indoors.
